RAPE and RELIGION!
So I guess a lot of you all would have already noticed people posting stories, tweeting, sharing stuff under the #JusticeForAsifa, let's get to the basics about this hashtag, shall we?
The little 8-year-old girl was held captivated, drugged, gang-raped, injured, stabbed and succumbed to facial injuries and for what? because she was a Muslim or because she was a girl?
As a developing nation, it scares me! People having such mentality, possessing this blind spiritual faith in such anti-religious theories which eventually make them believe whatever they did was to prove that their religion is superior to the other religions!!!!
How dumb are we that we fail to notice the truth that we are born humans and the only religion we are going to die with is "HUMANITY".
God does not check or bother about your religion after you die; he bothers about what you do with the help of your humanity now.
The Kathua and the Unnao case speaks tonnes about everything that is wrong with this country right now.
A 16-year-old raped, gathered the guts to voice out and eventually led to the death of her own father who was beaten up by the accused rapist and his men. I guess she should have shut up right?At least she would have had her father alive.
The family of Asifa left the house after hearing the news of their daughter's death. Why?Because that is the amount of terror we create in the name of religion.
You might have also come across a lot of posts with the #NameAndShameThem. Do share those photos because if we cannot punish the rapists as a country we can at least shame them as normal citizens and make them feel guilty and as horrible as the girls would have felt when those a*****les touched them, harassed them not once but multiple times!
WE NEED STRICT LAWS!!! WE NEED LAWS WHICH SENDS SHIVERS DOWN THE SPINE OF PEOPLE WHO ENCOURAGE THE THOUGHT OF RAPE UNDER THE PRETEXT OF RELIGION OR EVEN LUST.
