Equal Rights?

We live in a country where The Constitution guarantees equal rights for all the citizens but when it comes to putting these laws into reality - WE SUCK.
Yes, we do suck. I mean, in a world where people are only bothered about feminism and male chauvinism, we conveniently forget that there are issues more significant than these.
There are issues dealing with those silent souls present in the non-human animals and elements.
There are issues in treating people who are neither feminists nor possessing male ego.
The Transgenders <3
(Yes, many of you refers to them as chakkas! which is gross💢)

I know many of you wouldn't even wish to continue reading this anymore after seeing the image; those who do, you still have a golden heart. We treat transgenders so badly, we treat them worse. Moreover, we spoil their name by giving them names. How effortlessly we speak,"Kya "chakke" ki tarah taali baja raha hai?" And I still wonder WHY? Why do we have to compare our claps to anybody!
Why do we even have to spoil anybody's choice of living?
Why do we turn our faces over anytime we encounter a eunuch?
We would not feel good if somebody did the same to us right?
Imagine yourself walking on a crowded dadar bridge and people turning away from you just because you are different.
Imagine people giving your name as a substitute of being weak, different and disabled.
It was horrifying, wasn't it?

Yes, I am no saint person and nor have these thoughts come just by sitting idly and pondering. This struck to my mind right when I was scrolling through my Facebook NewsFeed and there lay a beautiful video which made me teary. Wait, you can view it too.

No doubt, I love the makers of this video just for coming up with such an amazing idea. You guys are amazing. Yes, #TouchOfCare is a must for everybody everywhere.
But what is more important is "The concept of Equal Rights should not remain just restricted to our Constitution(Just because it depicts "Mera Bharat Mahan"). Let the concept be in our thoughts and in our deeds."
Vicks India has already initiated a step. What are you waiting for?
