Sea-saw
Hellloooooo.....and welcome back!! Hope you all are having a great, lazy summer vacayyy and are constantly thinking about how to make it more productive and fruitful :p
Worry not, that's never going to happen :D
So the only thing you can do is either stay in your pjs and laze around everywhere or just roam to all the places of tourist interest to while away your time!
And one of the most important tourist attractions of Mumbai is the MARINE DRIVE!!
Marine Drive is a 3.5-kilometre-long boulevard in South Mumbai in the city of Mumbai. It is a 'C'-shaped six-lane concrete road along the coast, which is a natural bay.
Now if you are a mumbaikar you ought to know that there is lot more to this place rather than it being just a bay!
It is a place of creating memories for some whereas it acts like a solace for the rest.
Most of the Indian fiction authors depicts this place as an ideal proposal location and well Mumbaikars do consider it as an escape to spend some lone time with their better half. On the other hand, the bay is so peaceful and quiet that it serves like a hideout for the heart broken, dejected people. You could just empty your heart out here and go back with a new you who has this big smile and the courage to face all the upcoming adversities.
Well I write so much about the Marine Drive how can I forget the sea it is surrounded by?
The Arabian Sea!! The sea which would actually depict your life.
The water in the sea which constantly keeps on moving reminding you that life too never stays still.
The high and low tides which say that yes you are also going to have your highs and lows.
The sea is same at bandstand,carters,marine drive and shivaji park indicating to the fact that the life is same for everyone only the foreground changes!
The Arabian has seen relations build and break which means even you will build and drift apart from some relations but thats not the end of your life.
You may drown if you dont know how to keep moving with the flow of the waves. Similarly you may fail miserably if you do not know how to move ahead with time and get past things.
It might have faced the scorching heat and the withering clouds but it does stay the same after all of it. So is life with all its steamy and eye watery circumstances but in the end
you are a human being passing through it all.
The nights are always peaceful here. Likewise the nights are the best part of a human creature as it puts its mind to rest and subtly prepares for a new battle the next day brings.
And the last and the most important thing!!
It provides us for all our needs but when the needs start turning into greeds and we start exploiting it; it does slap us by storms, tsunamis and various natural calamities occurring in the sea.
In the same manner we should be there to help the people around us and fulfil their needs but we should also stay alert and know when they turn into greeds and pay them for their greeds!!
it is good to be for THE NEEDY but not for THE GREEDY!!!!
ironically, the thought of this blog post also struck me when i was just relaxing and enjoying every bit of the sunset at marine drive :)
P.S. THE NATURE TEACHES US ALOT OF THINGS. ITS TIME WE DISCONNECT OURSELVES FROM THE "CONNECTING" DEVICES AND CONNECT OURSELVES TO NATURE.
