Shshhh its all about that time of the month…!!!

Ohh wait.. Did I say it out loud? Oh crap! Should I Be worried?? Haha now with the GST I guess we all should.
Ohh am I rude? Disobedient? Against the new Government?
Yes, judge me all you could but being a normal human being who belongs to the feminine gender its pretty normal and acceptable for me to freak out and freak the rest up too.
So here’s an addition to all the previous posts that you have constantly been scrolling through on your screen.
  • Do we want India to progress? Yes.
  • Do we want to see our nation become a superpower? Yes
  • Do we feel proud while representing India at all local, national and international levels? Yes
  • Do we support Swaccha Bharat Abhiyaan and try our best to follow it and encourage the rest to do it to? Yes

  1. Is 12% GST on sanitary napkin (a.k.a stayfree or whisper) helping to boost our economy?         I’m afraid but the answer is a big NO.
How do the people on the panel think that bleeding 4 days a month is a luxury, which Indian women choose every month?
Its not like we receive a letter every month from nature indicating that “Congrats you are not pregnant. Do you still wish to go through a whole ride of emotions and feelings and mood swings which comes with pimples for a duration of ideal 4 weeks with after effects that would last a week as the people in your country think its a luxury?”
It took us years to make the awareness regarding menstrual hygiene reach to the remote areas of India and now we make them so so costly that they cannot even afford it.

Let me get this straight – Hygiene is not a choice, Sir. It has to be a priority. ALWAYS.

All I want to know is how many days, petitions, or blogs or hashtags is it going to take for the Government to remove the GST on sanitary pads?
Because its not just illogical or stupid but it just proves that no matter how much we progress there is always going to be a dumb drawback to pull us down.
Like without much efforts if you could rename CST to CSMT ( as if it was such a grave issue or a priority), you have (not you should) to remove the GST.

Reason why :-
  1.       Clothes are a real pain in the ass.
  2.        They add discomfort to the internal pain we already go through.
  3.        Its unhygienic to use them.
  4.        Not just that, it takes guts to wear that thing again.
  5.       Pads are easy to wear and dispose.
  6.        Pads are comfortable.
  7.        And there is a thin but big, big line of difference between COMFORT and LUXURY.
  8.        Cloth rags are a serious health hazard.

Now I’ll put this as humbly as I could.
This addresses to anybody who can make the change happen,

We don’t choose changes or processes in our body, they happen. Had they not, you would not have been born. So its better we take the tax of the commodities of necessity and let it be on luxury.
With all hope that as fast as our Government works on the external affairs, it’ll work on this feebleminded act to.
